PTC is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Account Executive in Germany. In this role, you would be responsible to get access to key manufacturing executives and managers, understand their most pressing business challenges and mid/long term strategic business goals, position our solution portfolio in the context of their Digital Transformation efforts for increased impact, speed, and scale, and engage them in a journey aimed at laying down the foundation of a successful and long-lasting business relation.

This team is an integral part of the Direct Sales force in EMEA and is also embedded into the daily operations of the assigned Region, according to a typical matrix organization where flexible leadership and relentless commitment to excellence are highly valued.

Day-To-Day

• Find cross-sell, up-sell and net-new opportunities in the manufacturing domain and lead the sales cycle end to end coordinating the efforts of a large internal (Business Development Managers, Technical Specialists, Customer Success Leads, etc.) as well as external (Management Consultants, System Integrators, Technology Partners, etc.) ecosystem
• Accurately forecast sales opportunities
• Be a positive, inclusive, and open-minded forward-looking leader for both PTC and our customers

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Proven ability to run enterprise software and/or services sales in manufacturing environments (ERP, MES, SCADA, DCS, …)
• Proven ability to lead with business value, at ease with executives
• Energy and drive, resiliency, self-motivation, and integrity

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing (either process or discrete) in a Sales position - expertise on the automotive sector would be highly preferred
• Excellent written & oral skills in German and English
