Associate Manager (m/f/d) EMEA Security Operations Center

The Manager, EMEA Security Operations Center(SOC) will support and implement the control team’s operational protocols,crisis management initiatives, and processes to deliver excellence to thebusiness. The Manager will help define and drive performance and quality metricsin the SOC to ensure a strong focus on operational and strategic excellence. Additionally,this role will handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and rapidly changingenvironment in a positive and professional manner. The Manager will alsosupport Security Operations if/when the Manager is not available. This rolewill be based at Gigafactory Berlin Brandenburg (GFBB), located in Grünheide, Germany,and reports to the EMEA Senior Regional Security Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage SOC operational excellence,strategy, and team development
• Drive digital/business transformation byidentifying and supporting adoption of new technologies and tools
• Develop and communicate meaningful metricsto enhance operational excellence
• Establish and maintain a deep understandingof operational risks and drive the response process to minimize the impact ofthese risks
• Improve capability of threat analysis andreporting operations
• Develop, implement, and periodicallyre-evaluate policies and procedures for the SOC
• Influence and improve upon existingprocesses through innovation and operational change
• Engage with cross-functional teams toevaluate program effectiveness and ability to meet stakeholder needs
• Supports the incident commander for majoror high-profile incidents including validating and raising incidents,coordinating response, facilitating information sharing, and ensuringdocumentation
• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency in riskassessments for new locations, changes in location business types
• Leads high risk travel security assessmentsand coordination with security vendors supporting such events
• Successfully execute all other dutiesassigned
• Mentor junior staff, interns andapprentices
• Ability to lead and motivate the team tosuccessfully absorb additional reasonable responsibilities to further add valueof the team to further support the business

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years of experience directly leadingteams in military, law enforcement, corporate security, or emergency management
• 3+ years in a control center or securityoperations center environment
• 5+ years in physical security, riskmanagement, loss prevention, emergency preparedness or law enforcementexperience
• Hands-on experience coordinating andrunning training events in a corporate setting highly preferred
• Working knowledge of camera analytics,alarms, and access control security systems and technology is highly preferred
• Ability to manage stress and respondquickly to security, safety, and sensitive situations highly preferred
• Availability to work evenings and weekendsas needed
