Es erwartet Sie ein spannender Einsatz als Simulation Software Engineer Visualisation (m/w/d) bei unserem Partner Airbus in Manching.
Airbus Defence & Space is developing high fidelity Engineering and Training Simulations for a variety of aircraft's and supporting the entire development life-cycle. At the core, the Simulations are distributed real-time applications. The Simulation and IT Infrastructure Teams' responsibilities include the development and integration of visualisation solutions (Image Generators) as well as the tooling, interfaces and databases belonging to those.
Airbus is looking for a Software Engineer contributing to the design, development, integration and testing activities of software components related to the Image Generator - Simulator interface (Visual Interface).
The jobholder (f/m/d) works as a Simulation Software Engineer Visualisation and the main tasks are:
● Derive system requirements or user stories from operational requirements for new functionalities of Engineering and Training Simulation systems or subsystems
● Design architecture of software modules for new simulator functionalities (specifically for a new Visual Interface)
● Develop Visual Interface components and plugins (mainly C++)
● Create and perform unit tests of software modules
● Create tools for improving our development processes (e.g. code generators) Integrate the developed components with the overall Simulator systems and Image Generator software
● Create test cases and perform integration testing
● Documentation of the appropriate software modules
● Module responsibility for dedicated subsystems
(Aufgabenstellung in Englisch, da Projektsprache)
Ihr Profil
● Abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektrotechnik, Informatik oder in der Luft- und Raumfahrt
● Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Software-Engineering
● Gute Kenntnisse in Python, Matlab und C++
● Sprachkenntnisse in Englisch (verhandlungssicher), Deutsch- und/oder Spanischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
● Luftfahrttechnischer Hintergrund und/oder Erfahrung mit Simulatoren, synthetischen Umgebungen und/oder visuellen Systemen (Bildgeneratoren) wäre ein Pluspunkt
● Agile Entwicklungsmethodologien sind erwünscht
● Interesse an Flugsimulatoren, Softwareentwicklung und -integration
● Analytisches und strukturiertes Denken
● Teamplayer und flexible Persönlichkeit
