RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Engineering & Maintenance IT unit manages and supports the use of engineering software in the BASF Group. 

• You will support, maintain and enhance CAE applications in plant engineering, initially with a focus on 3D design systems. 
• In addition, you will actively participate in the further development of the applications and contribute your ideas how to improve the system environment.
• You think beyond system boundaries and support, as part of our  team, to integrate the CAE application landscape deeper.
• Furthermore, you are part of a global expert community from North/South America, Asia and Europe. 
• Last but not least, you will develop small customizations and enhancements in domain specific languages and .NET. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• successfully completed training as an IT specialist or a degree in engineering technology or computer science 
• very good practical IT knowledge in an industrial environment 
• independent familiarization with new IT systems 
• experience in support of CAE applications is an advantage 
• ability to work in a team to achieve common goals
