Job Description
Position Summary:
- An ideal candidate will have experience in SDWAN as this will be the future of the infrastructure environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for contributing to an extensive network integration project following a large acquisition.
- Responsible for network integrations; configurations upgrades and infrastructure clean up.
- Will work with corporate and local division resources to ensure cabling routers and switches are done correctly.
- Become a key member of the team responsible for the planning implementation support and maintenance of infrastructure solutions specific to compute storage backup and disaster recovery.
- Daily environmental health monitoring proactively remediating any identified issues.
- Resolution of reported incidents and fulfilment of requests pertaining to the compute infrastructure.
- Create concise and accurate technical documentation.
- Manage multiple small and medium initiatives simultaneously.
- Liaise with internal team to ensure effective communication collaboration and stakeholder involvement.
- Periodic oncall support for afterhours and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
- 7 years of overall Network experience LAN WAN & WIFI management.
- Heavy experience with Cisco products.
- Strong experience with network architecture integrations and upgrades.
- Experience in IT networking and Cybersecurity best practices and compliancy requirements for area of expertise.
- Experience with WiFi configurations.
- Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
Desired:
- CCNP or CCIE certification
- SDWAN migration experience
- Network Certification
