We are offering 10 Master thesis positions on the topic of Digital Transformation in Medicine , located at Hannover Medical School in Hannover, Germany.

These master projects are collaborative efforts between a computer science/data science master student and a medical student within the graduate program DigiStrucMed. The projects may start between June 1st, 2024 and February 1st, 2025, with a duration of 6 months.

DigiStrucMed
The Else Kröner graduate program Digital Transformation in Medicine (DigiStrucMed) is a structured graduate program of Hannover Biomedical Research School with the 4th program year starting in Summer 2024. The program is funded by Else Kröner Fresenius-Stiftung and is a collaborative project involving Hannover Medical School (MHH), the Peter L. Reichertz Institute for Medical Informatics of TU Braunschweig and MHH (PLRI), the research institute L3S of Leibniz University Hannover, and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hannover (Hs-H). Aufgaben:
Computer science master students and those in related fields collaborate with medical doctoral students in an interdisciplinary research project addressing questions within the area of Digital Transformation in Medicine .

Projects
Starting from March, we are offering 10 distinct projects encompassing areas such as machine learning algorithms for identifying disease risk factors and the development of biosensors for health monitoring. Projects from the initial 3 years are accessible through the homepage (). Qualifikationsprofil:
  • Currently pursuing a Master's program in Computer Sciences, (Bio)informatics, Data Sciences, or a related field at a German university
  • Eager to engage in interdisciplinary project work focusing on Digital transformation in medicine
