Setting up each tool prior to a scheduled run, ensuring process parameters are met and part quality isĀ acceptable
Proposing and implementing continuous improvement actions in close relation to production, maintenance, engineering, development, and quality departments
Participating in the development of the LEAN manufacturing program
Taking part in the development and implementation of new processes for future products
Participating in training to increase skills
Reports directly to Process Managers
What you bring along:
Completed Bachelor's degree or a degree in mechanical or maintenance engineering
Having practiced in LEAN manufacturing is appreciated and considered a plus
2-5 years of experience in an industrial environment is a plus
Must have a process approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving
Self-starter able to work with limited supervision to maintain process quality
Able to set up and maintain quality production standards
Ability to perform mathematical calculations associated with processing parameters
Strong communication skills
Experience in the automotive industry
Fluency in English or French, and German is an advantage
