Senior Manager Platforms and Services (all genders) At LPD (Leisure Package Distribution) it’s all about Leisure Travel:
We help travelers find and book their perfect package. Whether on the internet or in the travel agency - you will find our solutions offline and online in DACH, BENELUX and Israel. More than 350 customers rely on our IBE or APIs. And more than 12,000 travel agencies trust our tools for consulting and booking in the B2B environment. We provide the distribution reach for tour operators. And at the same time, we integrate their content. This is how we make more than 1 trillion offers searchable and bookable every day. In a few milliseconds we find the best packages or compile them on the fly. And all this in true end-to-end responsibility. From development to support, from DevOps to our own data Centers to the cloud, everything is in our hands. High availability and customer focus are important to us. What are your responsibility's:
Operations and provisioning of the infrastructure (both on-premises in the data centres and in the cloud, including the network)
Incident Response Team (IRT) and customer support.
In addition, you support the agile teams of the business unit in taking their responsibility for the operation of their applications
For this purpose, you provide tools for pipelining in a DevOps approach
The Senior Manager PNS leads Managers, Team Leaders and their teams, which consist of DevOps Engineers, SREs, Customer Support, Infrastructure and Network specialists

The ideal candidate should have:
A strong background in ITIL and a Master’s or MBA degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Multilingual skills, fluent in German and English, and experience running applications and ensuring high availability.
Demonstrable experience with DevOps and Cloud concepts, as well as experience managing stakeholders up to the executive/C-Suite level.
8-10 years of management experience, particularly in change or interim management, and should be able to demonstrate success in change programs utilizing methodologies such as ADKAR.
Experience managing multiple teams of at least 30 people with Agile methodology, and experience with SAFe is a plus.
Cultural sensitivity, with experience working internationally with diverse teams and managing geographically remote teams.
Experience in budget setting and cost management, as well as negotiation with various stakeholders to secure necessary resources.
Experience managing teams with homegrown software solutions, cloud-based, or on legacy systems, and cloud migration experience is a plus.
