The Research Training Group 2408 (RTG 2408) at the Otto von Guericke University, Magdeburg, Germany offers several PhD positions ( TV-L E13, 65 %) for talented and highly motivated students. The RTG 2408 is funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft). Research Training Groups provide excellent interdisciplinary training for doctoral students in a high-quality research topic.
Aufgaben:
The RTG 2408 investigates in an innovative field of research: maladaptive processes at physiological barriers in the context of chronic diseases. The RTG 2408 will be accompanied by a structured supervision and qualification program, including information on career paths, networking aspects of professionalism, in addition to scientific training. PhD projects will start on October 1, 2024. The positions will be funded for 3 years (there may be options for 1-year extensions). Requirements for the position
- outstanding Master degree/university degree equivalent to a German master’s degree in life sciences
- excellent English language skills
- candidates with expertise in state-of-the-art techniques in life sciences will be strongly considered
