As of the next possible date, we are looking for a:
Senior Accounting & Tax Administrative (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Management of the general ledger, accounting, valuation and posting of business transactions
- Clarification of issues relevant to the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual GL account reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly VAT declarations for various European countries with the support of the company’s tax advisors
- Driving necessary VAT changes to ensure tax compliance
- Maintaining fixed asset accounting
- Supporting direct tax calculation and declaration
- Financial audit support
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks for the accounting and tax department
Your profile:
- Preferably a university degree in economics or similar and/or a commercial apprenticeship in the tax area
- Approximately 3 years of professional experience in the field of accounting or taxation, preferably in an international company
- Solid knowledge of HGB
- Good SAP and Excel skills
- Business-fluent German language skills; solid English is a matter of course in our international company
- Accurate and independent working style
- Reliability, sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team and quick comprehension
- High flexibility to take on new challenges within the accounting department, incl. credit control and treasury (after
the education period)
