Aufgaben:You lead, drive and continuously develop INM’s strategy for Innovation and Technology Transfer at InnovationCenter INM. You strategically develop new business opportunities for INM materials and technologies portfolio together with portfolio-specific innovation managers.
You elaborate business models and market entry strategies for the INM Transfer Portfolio. You develop the branding of INM as solution provider in key industrial sectors.
You build an organization framework, an operating model and entrepreneurial culture at the InnovationCenter INM that spreads innovation spirit and thrives participation of the scientific units. You work closely together with INM scientists and jointly develop business opportunities and the acquisition of seed funding.
You engage with stakeholders, technology experts, industry partners, and investors as well as with internal scientists to identify new business opportunities for INM research. You establish the link to innovation strategies in Saarland Campus.
You directly report to the INM Board of Directors and actively participate in drafting, steering and communicating innovation.
You develop a system for innovation management and accountability.
Qualifikationsprofil:Proven track record of success in business development, partnership management, and technology commercialization, ideally in start-up environments.
A university degree, preferably in natural sciences, engineering, informatics or business.
Demonstrated experience in leadership and change management, with the ability to lead cross-functional and multicultural teams and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Hands-on-mentality, custom- and business-oriented thinking, strong, agile organization skills.
Fluency in English and German.
Senior experts in business development who are intrinsically motivated to support transfer of new technologies from academia, and enthusiastic entrepreneurs interested in building up a strong project portfolio with industrial partners are explicitly encouraged to apply.
