Job description

Responsibilities Reporting to the Managing Director for Germany, you will lead a team of 75 people across two sites (in Rastede and Nienburg). You will be a regular sparring partner for the Business Unit Leadership Team. Your main areas of responsibility will include: People leadership Daily operations management including follow up on KPI Process and system optimisation Project leadership Food safety and Quality Execution of strategy Collaboration across BHJ Leadership, collaboration and development of the Production/Plant Managers One of the key projects that you will be involved in is the developing of a new production setup in Nienburg , where you will be responsible for driving the development and successful execution. Another key focus area is to increase the collaboration and cooperation between the German and Danish production sites to facilitate knowledge sharing and secure agility in the supply chain. Experience and Qualifications We are looking for an experienced production leader who has an operational understanding from the food or beverage industry, including topics like production processes and food safety/quality requirements. You should be able to demonstrate successful operational and people leadership within a production environment for either one or multiple sites, and ideally in an international environment. As a person you are a team player, who proactively contributes ideas and is empathetic to others’ perspectives. You lead by example, acting as a role model in achieving success via others. Though important that you contribute to discussions and listen to others, you should also be able to take decisions and follow them through to achieve results. We expect that you are fluent in both German and English, and live within a commutable distance from both Rastede and Nienburg as daily travel to both sites is required.
