Job description

JOIN THE TEAM

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a buyer, you are the first point of contact in purchasing with our suppliers, service providers and internal requesters.

- You will be responsible for creating tenders and enquiries.
- In addition, you will be responsible for the timely and needs-based procurement in our own merchandise management system within the framework of the applicable purchasing guidelines.
- You will be responsible for conducting price, framework and contract negotiations with our international suppliers and handling complaints.
- Moreover, you will also coordinate delivery dates with the suppliers and monitor them.
- You will also be the first point of contact for questions of all kinds relating to vendor invoices and take responsibility for clarifying the resulting issues.
- As part of your new role, you will be responsible for supporting the interface between suppliers and the internal customs department and for developing and introducing cost controlling based on product groups.
- Last but not least, you will continuously optimise procurement processes and standardise workflows.
