Job description

We are looking for a 1st Line System Support Technician to join our team: a future employee capable of identifying and resolving problems that users may encounter. This person will have to respond to internal and external challenges in terms of technical infrastructure. This person will be responsible for supporting fixes, debugging and upgrades and continuing to develop their technical skills to better meet user needs. Responsabilities Provide first level support of end-user for Office Applications and PoD specific customized Applications Participate in regular technical meetings with the Infrastructure and Services Division (IS) Customize, control end-user developed application and other software as needed Ensure the availability of appropriate level of documentation from the originating source Maintain the systems configuration according to IS defined standards and staff guidelines Support distributed computer resources in accordance with the defined guidelines and procedures Execute initial troubleshooting on all Hardware/software installed in collaboration with IS supporting Teams to avoid warranty issues Create/maintain security, recovery and contingency plans for the protection of end-users' assets according to existing directives Request and ensure proper follow-up and update of the access requests to system resources in accordance with the user profile for new users Request revocation of access upon user departure or move inside organization and disabling access at the users' departure/transfer Record all support requests, incidents/problems... in the tracking tool Ensure proper escalation/monitoring of the assigned tickets Notify Service Desk and Network Team about all modifications to the physical systems and network configuration, in particular for material that has been permanently removed from the network and Active Directory Criteria Have at least 3 years of experience in the deployment, day-to-day management and maintenance of IT Assets such as Personal Computers, Printers, Phones, Servers and Software, in a LAN or WAN and WiFi Experience in Incident Management, providing first level support, guidance, assistance and training to end-users of IS systems Experience in diagnosing and resolving common problems related to Web technologies, server applications through browsers by making best use of FAQ pages/knowledge-base Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the administration of LAN and WAN environments, comprised of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems based Client Server environment, in particular managing users, groups and permissions in an Active Directory (AD) Demonstrated knowledge of Electronic Data Processing (Edp) Hardware and software optimization and configuration Specialized training and experience in MS office and data processing systems, Windows Operating Systems, and applications software packages Professional proficiency in English is required Global offer Permanent contract (CDI) Hybrid model (1-2 days remote work/week) Meal vouchers DKV insurance Company car upon demand Career assistance and development training NTT DATA Europe & LATAM is the 6th-leading IT services company worldwide.
