Job description

My cleint is looking for a fulltime Branch Coordination Assistant to join our European team in Nuremberg. In this position, you will be offered a medior role and comes with a degree of control over the accounting procedures and closing deadlines of the individual branches. In this role, you will work directly with the finance manager and assist in the coordination of the five European branches. This role will be an integral part of the Finance Department and the goal is to develop the right candidate to be responsible for the Financial Coordination of the German branch.

Main responsibilities & support areas:

• Assist in the coordination of the accounting within the German branch.
• Oversee accounting processes including financial statements reporting, foreign currency accounting, fixed assets, governmental reporting, and other accounting activities.
• Maintain monthly closing activities.
• Assist in Month/Quarter and Year-end closing of the branches.
• Determine applicable provisions where necessary.
• Monitor monthly cost bookings and accruals.
• General control over the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Inventory.
• Processing tax payments and returns.
• VAT, CIT and Statistical Reporting
• Administrative education at MBO level or equal by work experience.
• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations.
• In-depth understanding of business/ German bookkeeping procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Outlook.
• English language (native or business fluent).
• German language skills is a plus.
• Experience with SAP B1/ SAP S/4HANA is advantageous.
• Flexible and dedicated.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Accurate and affinity with numbers, analytical.
• Calm and professional attitude.
• Pro-active and hands-on, self-motivated.
