Job description
Mission As a Virtualization Engineer, you will be a key element of Foundation Services, strong of his 37 collaborators based on 3 countries, supporting the infrastructures: Network, Security, Storage, Backup, Virtualization & IT Room Facilities. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, and operating the Virtualized (VMware+OpenShift) infrastructure within the European Parliament: Ensure the integrity of high availability Virtualized infrastructure to provide maximum performance for the users. Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and Virtualized infrastructure related problems Participate in team collaboration to share engineering efforts, technical challenges, and breakthroughs Work with vendors and team members to troubleshoot issues related to the operations (Problem management) Profile Minimum 3 years' experience in Virtualized technologies Standard demonstrable skills in system and functional analysis and problem diagnostic, capability of producing basic specification and documentation Demonstrated ability for good communication (oral and written) French English are mandatory Candidates for this position should be willing to perform shift work rotation (2 shifts from 7am to 8pm and, in middle term, participate in 24/7 on call rotation Technical skills vCenter Server Appliance (VCSA) 7 (With all Enterprise Plus features like Distributed Switches / Datastores Clusters / etc ...) ESXi 7 Lifecycle Manager (including Update Manager Download Services) OS : Windows/Linux One or several of the following technologies / certifications is a bonus: vSAN 7 Site Recovery Manager 8 vRealize Aria Operations / Orchestrator Hardware skills for HPE/ HPE OneView NSX / VMware Cloud Foundation OpenShift Scriping : PowerShell, PowerCLI or vRealize Orchestrator Why Cronos Group?
