As a Full Stack Engineer, you play a pivotal role in shaping our cutting-edge functionalities and pioneering solutions that empower engineers to seamlessly interact with the products they bring to life, unlocking new realms of innovation in product creation and maintenance.
Our Development Team is a close-knit community committed to continuously improve on product development from inception to deployment and beyond, fostering collaboration and creativity.
Your Mission
- Crafting simple solutions to complex engineering problems, writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code adhering to SOLID values;
- Embody a sense of ownership and pride taking in delivery of responsive, user-centric, and high-performing code for SPREAD’s web applications and Platform;
- As a part of a cross-functional team, you own small to medium features and tasks, driving them from technical design through release;
- To be driven by quality when it comes to documentation and test coverage, including reviews, unit-, integration-, and end-to-end testing;
- Follow developments on cutting-edge technology and best practices to enhance your work and SPREAD’s products;
- Collaborate closely with POs, Designers, QA, and other colleagues and constantly push for a better experience for our customers.
Your Experience
MUST HAVES:
- Formal degree in Hardware/Software Engineering or related field, together with 2+ years of experience working on Software in a production setting;
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript - as well as experience writing code in one or more of the following: Java, Rust, or Golang; Full Front- or Backend experience is equally valued as long as you are language-agnostic!
- Familiarity with GraphQL;
- Experience working in a modern CI/CD workflow and agile environment;
- Interest and ability to learn most technologies on-the-go;
- Positive, proactive mindset and ability to work independently, but also enjoy working in a cross-functional team;
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
NICE TO HAVES: - Experience with Spring boot;
- Experience in microservice architecture;
- Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL databases (e.g. ArangoDB, Postgres/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch);
- Experience working in production-scale cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and with containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency and/or interest in some of the following; Low-Code, Data Modeling, ETL, Micro-frontends, Monorepos, E2E testing;
- Scientific knowledge or interest in fields related to our research (such as data structures and algorithms, 3D programming and rendering, simulations, statistics, numerical methods, and mathematical modeling in physics).
