Job description
- Further development and maintenance of the functional control model including value driver tree.
- Assist in the development of production, supply chain and procurement strategy in close collaboration with the management team and corporate strategy.
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts for the production, supply chain and procurement functions based on top-down objectives.
- Calculating scenarios for changes in the production area and deriving recommendations.
- Proactive analysis of cost center and operational reports and recommendation of alternative courses of action as well as tracking the implementation of corresponding measures.
- Conduct performance reviews with management of key operations, supply chain management and procurement functions.
- Support in period closing at a functional level.
- Assist in managing global logistics network and production performance.
- Preparation of decision templates, close communication and discussion with management.
Voraussetzungen
- Studied industrial engineering (Bachelor/Master) with a focus on controlling.
- Good written and spoken English skills
- At least 5-10 years in factory controlling of an international company.
- Strong financial analysis skills to analyze complex financial data, identify trends and generate insights to support business decisions.
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards and requirements and experience with consolidating financial statements within the group structure.
- In-depth knowledge of technologies and systems related to HR (SAP HCM and other tools).
- Knowledge of reporting and planning tools (SAP, Management & Legal Consolidation System)
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Ability and willingness to lead and motivate others, entrepreneurial thinking, taking responsibility and strategic perspective.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and present at senior management levels, particularly in an international context.
- Strong analytical skills, very structured way of thinking and the ability to see the big picture.
- Ability to defend the controlling perspective in discussions with senior management, subsidiaries, functions, etc., even in the face of resistance.
- High quality and compliance awareness, solution-oriented attitude and high (internal) customer orientation.
