The core objectives of the procurement organization are to achieve the greatest possible contribution to earnings from direct and material costs for the company, to achieve and maintain competitiveness, to increase purchasing expertise, to continuously optimize procurement processes and to implement uniform purchasing methods, programs and tools throughout the company.

Your Tasks:

• You will assist us in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations, Excel analyses/data and statistics in procurement.
• You work in the area of process improvements and simplification through standardization, digitization and automation of procurement processes.
• You will actively support us in operational purchasing processes from the requirement request, including the approval process, to the order and delivery tracking.
• You will be involved in the day-to-day business within the procurement organization in the processing of tenders as well as in the preparation and follow-up of supplier inquiries and documents.

Necessary Skills:

• At least three completed semesters in economics, engineering or business informatics
• Confident with Microsoft Office (possibly also SAP, JIRA etc.)
• Familiar with agile working methods, scrum, design thinking, project management
• German and English language skills at C1 level

• Confident and friendly demeanor as well as assertiveness
