Job description
For our client in the aerospace industry we are looking for motivated candidates for the location Hamburg- Finkenwerder Germany for the following position with immediate effect and within the framework of temporary employment:
Supply Chain and Quality Manager (d/f/m) Ref.10242401
Your responsibilities:
The Jobholder (d/f/m) will work as Supply Chain and Quality Manager.
- Central point of contact with suppliers for operational activity management and supplier
ambassador to internal functions
- Evaluation of suppliers during the offer phase and contribut to the selection decision (e.g. provide
consolidated forecast to suppliers and ensure that suppliers will have the required capacity)
- Manage supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, being responsible for On Time, On Quality
(and on Cost when applicable) performance
Manage supplier quality Approval/Authorization, ensure that suppliers are compliant with
certifications required
- Present the situation of the supplier on operational performance (e.g KPIs and assessments) during
commodity meetings
- Monitor or support new product introduction to ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial
phase
- Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects, set long term development targets
together with the suppliers and in coordination with the Supplier Development Team
- Work out short term and mid term recovery plans (out of Missing Parts, back to Purchase Order)
- Maintain a close communication and coordination with the operational teams at internal customer
sites, to ensure the contribution of all relevant functions to the delivery of procured goods or
services

Personal requirements:
- Team player with excellent communication skills to collaborate with different reference persons
- Assertive and customer-oriented person
- Able to analyse complex problems, situations and find suitable solutions
- Willingness to travel occasionally
Studies:
- Technical studies at least Bachelor's degree
or
- Industrial engineer at least Bachelor's degree
or
- Supply Chain / Logistics at least Bachelor's degree course
Professional experience:
- Supply chain at least over 2 years
knowledges:
- KVP at least good knowledge
- Process management at least basic knowledge
- Risk management at least basic knowledge
- Total quality management
(problem solving methods)
at least good knowledge
- Knowledge in the field of civil
Aviation (CA) documentation
at least good knowledge
IT:
- SAP at least in-depth application knowledge
- Google Workspace is an advantage
Language Skills:
- German at least business fluent
- English at least business fluent
