In summary … The NPE procurement specialist is responsible for the procurement of goods and services in the support of NPE’s operations. Manage the NPE’s suppliers to ensure consistent delivery of goods and services whilst identifying possible obstacles that may affect productivity. Establishing and maintaining all procurement processes.
What you will do … - Review all ReadSoft purchases ensuring the correct information is entered
- Create and maintain vendor master data, validating information with vendors
- Maintain relationships with important vendors (e.g. travel agent, travel expense system, etc.)
- Consolidate the company purchases into the procurement function (creation of POs)
- Negotiate with major suppliers to attain beneficial conditions/lower costs
- Look to continually seek opportunities for additional vendors with the right cost and quality
- Evaluate spending operations whilst seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and timelines of deliveries.
Potential development path… - Establish relationships and agreements with major suppliers for the whole of the NPE footprint
- Develop sound, cost effective strategies for purchasing
- Implement procurement best practice including business solution to address deficiencies in the current process
- Work closely with NPE legal partners to conclude major contracts
What you have … - 3-5 years of professional experience in similar position.
Communication Skills - Fluency in English and German (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of French, Hebrew is desirable.
Work Standards - Compliant with NPE Core Competencies.
- Service orientated, customer focused.
- Takes ownership for work performance, cost conscious, resourceful, and proactive.
- Role model and sets a positive example for others to follow, cultivating a pro Nikon.
- Able to actively manage and prioritise several critical issues and escalations simultaneously.

- Adaptable to irregular working patterns.
Working conditions: Contract Working hours - Monday to Friday office hours, flexibility to work outside core hours including some weekend working.
Travel requirements - Infrequent periods abroad.
