Job description As a Service Owner (m/f), you will lead the development and management of a crucial development platform that will be utilized by hundreds of developers within a public administration context. Your responsibility Develop a clear and compelling vision for the development platform Formulate and execute a strategic roadmap that outlines the evolution of the platform over time Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and business analysts Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to implementation and maintenance. Work closely with development teams to prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value and impact Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the platform provides an intuitive and user-friendly experience for developers Conduct usability testing and gather feedback Develop and maintain a release schedule, coordinating with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely releases Implement effective communication strategies to inform users about upcoming releases and changes Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the platform and regularly monitor and report on its performance Collaborate with security experts to ensure the platform adheres to industry best practices and complies with relevant regulations Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure a secure development environment Develop comprehensive documentation for developers, including user guides, API documentation, and best practices Your profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Proven experience as a Product Owner or Service Owner in a similar context Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Familiarity with public administration processes and requirements is a plus Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus. Strong experience in containerization, with a proven track record of effectively leveraging containerization technologies to enhance software development and deployment processes
