Customs clearance clerk (m/f/d) - Import/Export

Job description

Your responsibilities:

• In collaboration with your team, you handle the preparation, clearance and control of documents for import and export shipments and ensure the correct application of customs procedures. 
• You determine the correct customs tariff numbers for our products and communicate regularly with customs offices, forwarders and suppliers. 
• Additionally, you get customs information and process customs-related statistics. 
• Furthermore, you will also be responsible for document processing and data maintenance, as well as checking service provider invoices.

  You bring along:

• You have successfully completed your commercial training, e.g. in freight forwarding and logistics services, wholesale and foreign trade or similar, and have already gained initial professional experience, e.g. in an international freight forwarding company, foreign trade or customs administration. 
• You have up-to-date knowledge of customs clearance and experience in using customs software such as ATLAS or AEB; experience in export customs clearance is an advantage. 
• Your proactive nature and your thorough, efficient and independent way of working make you a valued team member. 
• Good MS-Office skills, basic knowledge of Excel and very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile.
