Job description
Tasks
- Deliver best-in-class material information to our internal and external customers across the value chain
- Support in the creation of domain-specific specifications and result types (metamodel, data domain landscape, business glossary, business object model, tools etc.)
- Develop policies and procedures for Material Master Data Management and develop standard operating procedures (SOP) and rules for creation, change and maintain data in the software solution in alignment with other departments
- Recommend scope for adding new features to the existing system workflows or new workflows
- Implement and maintain data in the software solution in compliance with the defined Master Data principles
- Support continuous improvement through enhanced quality of master data and performance improvement initiatives on a regular basis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a computer-based (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems) or business administration discipline is preferred
- Knowledge of master data management concepts and approaches
- Advanced knowledge in SAP SD/ MM and/or SAP S4HANA
- Familiar with variant configuration
- Operational Experience with Data migration and Data migration tools (eg. Winshuttle)
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, creative, and communication skills
- Good project management and organizational skills
- Able to work in a cross-functional and international team environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent follow-through
- Very good English language skills, German is an advantage
