Job Description
- During your internship, you will be responsible for developing a thermal model in MATLAB for an electric power steering motor with attached ECU that can be parameterized based on mechanical data.
- The theoretical derivation of the thermal model based on material properties and mechanical design falls into your area of responsibility.
- You will verify the concept and fine-tune the parameters based on measurements on an existing test bench.
- Finally, you will define a design rule on how to adapt the thermal model for the motor for different motor classes and different suppliers.
Qualifications
- Education: studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electromobility or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: knowledge of electronics/electrical engineering; good programming skills in MATLAB
- Personality and Working Practice: quick on the uptake, independent, thorough and communicative
- Languages: fluent in English or German

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
