Abbott Diabetes Care, Abbott GmbH is looking for a Sr Financial Analyst EMEA (m/f/d) based in Wiesbaden.
Primary Function
This position provides financial analysis and support to the EMEA Area Commercial teams and the EMEA Controlling team. This position will support all departments at the EMEA Head Quarters and will work closely with the EMEA Controlling Group to ensure effective financial reporting, identification, and follow-up of business issues, continued development of finance systems, budgeting, variance reporting and ad hoc business analysis for EHQ and for the EMEA Region.
This position will report to the ADC EMEA Sr. FP&A Manager and have significant interaction with: Members of the Area HQ Senior Management team; ADC global finance teams; and the Regional/Country ADC Finance teams .
Major Responsibilities :
Key finance partner/controller for EMEAP HQ. Manage and control EMEA HQ expenses and ensure that month end process and accounting entries are accurately reflected.
Budget planning and financial partner to EMEA HQ Marketing, Commercial and Market Access teams and coordinate with other analysts (Sr. Project Finance ) to ensure the EMEA HQ P&L forecast is accurate.
Assist EMEA Management through ad hoc reports and analysis to highlight risks and opportunities and to provide business related insights . This includes complex analysis on Payroll/HC planning, Advertising & Promotion, Media spend.
Key finance partner for EMEAP wide external customer service provider, budget planning and PO creation process. Manage and control ICB process to countries and ensure that month end process and accounting entries are accurately reflected.
Assist FP&A Manager and Area HQ team in consolidating and reviewing financial forecast, month end close, confirm deliverables and coordinate with regions/countries.
Work to continually develop new processes to improve and drive the business as well as strengthen existing financial processes throughout EMEAP.
Act as subject matter specialist on any SAP/Dodeca related topics and coordinate with CFS/HUB/EFS teams when EMEAP countries face issues.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting or related discipline. ACCA, CPA, or CIMA membership.
Three to five years of progressive finance/accounting/Audit experience
Understanding of the Divisional financial process
Ability to interact with all levels of management
Must have excellent system skills, aptitude and experience, especially with multi-dimensional reporting systems (e.g. TM/1, Dodeca), SAP, HFM and Excel
Fluent in English - fluency in a second language a plus
Cross cultural/international experience and a willingness/openness to international mobility
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong analytical skills as well as critical thinking skills to identify and share business implications of financial results
