Business Relationship Manager (m/f/x)
Aufgaben:
The IT Business Relationship Manager is responsible for the stakeholder management of multiple central business functions within our European headquarter and our affiliates in Europe. As proactive partner to the business teams the job holder collaborates on strategic planning and shares ownership for the creation and realization of business value from IT perspective.
Roles and responsibilities:
Strategic Partnering
- Partners with business teams to plan new IT investments, evaluate proposals and determine fit with business roadmaps and priorities focusing on business value from IT perspective
- Evaluate and discuss business strategy plan and share those within IT to identify potential IT strategy
- Develop and enhance a positive relationship with business, actively manage expectations & monitoring and improving satisfaction levels
Advisory
- Actively follow the Demand Management Process by creation of business cases and business impact analyses as well as by coordinating the high-level solution design
- Apply business process management methods to support the design of new processes, guide process redesign, optimizations and documentation. Develop and promote process governance
- Be an active part of the IT project/portfolio Management
Execution
- Ensures, that the relevant IT services for the assigned business units delivered "End to End"
- Moderate regular status update and service review meetings
- Engage with IT internal stakeholder to manage the service lifecycle and TCO (total cost of ownership) aligned with the business/technology roadmaps
Qualifikationsprofil:
- University Degree in Computing and Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Management, Strategic Management
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 5 to 8 years of experience in equivalent position on business or IT side
- Ability to analyse very complex situations in unknown environments
- Ability to set expectations with business partners and leverage governance for a positive business partner experience
- Strategic thinking and ability to map organizational visions
- Seniority in managing internal and external suppliers
- Good knowledge of related business processes and technology trends for central business functions in a European/global organization
- Excellent communication skills including a very good knowledge of English, German nice to have
