How you'll contribute
As a Founder's Associate, you will have the opportunity to dive into a broad range of topics and gain exposure to many layers of Greenlyte. You will work closely with Alex, our head of CEO office, as part of the CEO Office taking on projects primarily within business operations and finance, but can also be anything that is currently crucial, including fundraising and other activities.
This role embodies understanding the organization and its processes inside out, and you will be tasked with finding issues with the current processes as well as work out solutions. With direct CEO / founder exposure the role can provide endless learning opportunities and a fast-track career path.
We’re looking for someone who can dive into projects, take ownership from start to finish, and build the frameworks that will scale our operations. We are looking for someone that is passionate about building a company, creating the building blocks to make Greenlyte extremely scalable on the business end. Your role will be dynamic, challenging, and integral to our growth and operational strategy.
What You'll Do
- Lead projects primarily within finance and business operations, managing them from inception to completion.
- Collaborate closely with Alex on special projects, contributing to their co-ownership and success.
- Support Florian, our CEO, in special projects that are usually on a very short timeline.
- Help in finding solutions for any issues within the organization at a fast pace.
- Develop project timelines and strategies, planning out and executing growth initiatives in business operations.
- Assume operational ownership of projects, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
Your first 12 months in the role: expectations and deliverables. Months 0-3: - Understand our core business operations and establish a working rhythm with Alex.
- Take on initial projects with full ownership and show strong delivery quality and speed.
- Show initiative in finding issues and improving running processes.
Months 3-6:
- Gain momentum in project ownership, start leading projects independently, and contribute to strategic planning sessions.
- Potential to take over key areas in business operations and run new projects to make Greenlyte scalable.
- Show strong flexibility in the types of projects you are taking over.
Months 6-12:
- Demonstrate significant progress in ongoing projects, initiate new strategic initiatives, and play a key role in shaping the future of our business operations.
- Support significantly in making the company ready to grow to 100+ people over the next year.
About you
- A graduate with demonstrated ambition and ownership in your academic pursuits, or possessing experience in VC, consulting, or similar fields.
- A track record of ambition and ownership, whether in a professional setting, university, or personal projects.
- An innate ability to learn quickly, utilizing available resources to become a subject-matter expert.
- Excellent project management skills, evident through successful project delivery in previous roles, academic projects, or personal initiatives.
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and take full ownership of responsibilities.
- Excellent IT skills, being able to work and quickly understand software.
- Good at spotting problems with ideas and drive to fix them.
- A strong bias to action and finding the best solution to get the job done.
- A natural sense of urgency and attraction to high-pace environments.
