Job description
This role will be part of the Program PMO which reports to the VP Program Management and is responsible for the successful delivery of our aircraft programs. As the Program Change Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the Change Requests raised by the project teams are robust and mature enough at each stage of their development and implementation. You will guide teams through the process to ensure all Program aspects have been appropriately considered (eg supply chain, industrial as well as technical) and that change implementation plans have been planned, baselined and are ultimately fully implemented. In this role you will interface with the Program, Commercial, Finance, Engineering and Operations organisations to maintain an overview of all program changes and their implementation status. You will use your experience in change management and coordinating multi-functional teams to:
- Management and coordination -Ensure the team and key stakeholders understand the impact of the proposed changes and are clear on what actions are required to limit the risk and properly implement them. Manage stakeholder engagement and expectations. Ensure process adherence.
- Process and tools Definition and Governance –identify, implement, maintain, and improve the right processes and tools that enable recording and driving the changes into the different organisation.
- Product baseline, monitoring and controlling – work with the Configuration Management team to ensure the product baseline is properly updated and communicated and the broader implications of any change are well managed.
Your Day to Day:
- Liaise with the different IPTs (Integrated Project Teams) to ensure the Change Requests associated with their perimeter are properly identified and thoroughly prepared, and are in line with the Aircraft Program objectives
- Represent the Aircraft Program at the CCB (Change Control Board) and ensure all Program considerations are well managed.
- Drive the Change Requests throughout the overall Change Process: from change identification to CCB decision and full integration to the program baseline; follow-up on actions coming out of CCB; monitor potential updates on Change Request impact assessments to the Program baseline, etc.
- Ensure that all approved Change Requests are properly cascaded to all impacted areas (Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, etc)
- Report on Change Request implementation progress for the overall Aircraft Program and manage deviations to plan and escalate whenever necessary.
Requirements
- University degree in a technical field (e.g. Engineering) or experience in a technical aerospace environment in lieu.
- Proven Project Management skills with a minimum of 5-8 years Project Management experience , ideally within a complex aerospace environment. Strong preference to candidates who have participated in at least one aircraft development program, ideally E-VTOL, and are familiar with all phases of the project lifecycle including development, certification and operational phases.
- Experience in Change Control is required.
- Excellent understanding of all Project Management fundamentals including scope, scheduling, risk management, estimation, project communications and budget and resource management.
- Demonstrable experience in managing cross-functional teams and ability to work closely with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience using Jira & Confluence is beneficial.
- Ability to probe and challenge assumptions.
- Preferably hold a PM qualification equivalent to IPMA Level C or higher as well as Scrum Master or other Agile Project Management qualification. Chartered Engineer status favourable.

- Excellent communicator in English, fluency in German would be beneficial.
