Business Data Steward (f/m/d) PLM

For the Aesculap division at the Tuttlingen site, we are looking for a Business Data Steward (f/m/d) PLM for our PLM Digitalization & Regulatory Intelligence team.
The position can also be filled on a job-sharing basis.
Tasks and responsibilities
- You act as a contact person (f/m/d) for data users and data managers of product data as well as for the associated process owners throughout the entire product life cycle
- As a Business Data Steward (f/m/d) PLM, you drive the definition of data models together with the process and data managers using suitable tools (e.g. dataspot), taking into account overarching data governance rules and business requirements
- In coordination with and supported by the group-wide Corporate Data Framework team, you ensure end-to-end transparency within the business processes from data collection and storage to use (end-to-end data lineage)
- You identify critical data elements, ensure an increase in (meta) data quality and compliance with data integrity guidelines through data profiling (Databricks) and data cleansing
- In coordination with relevant stakeholders (business, project team, application owners and central data framework team), you will carry out product data integration and support the qualification and validation of PLM processes and applications within digital transformation projects and initiatives
- You will conduct PLM data management training and support the business units in maintaining and optimizing data quality
Specialist skills
- You have successfully completed a degree with a focus on computer science, data analytics or business administration or have several years of experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
- You have practical experience in data management, data governance or similar areas
- Ideally, you have knowledge of working with applications for data management, quality and profiling
- Knowledge and experience in product lifecycle management and/or in the medical device industry is an advantage
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
