What you'll do
Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy for the supply chain transportation (scope 3), aligned with the company's overall sustainability goals and objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, logistics, and external partners, to identify opportunities for sustainable improvements throughout the supply chain process
Lead the design and execution of sustainable sourcing initiatives, focusing on ethical procurement practices, carbon footprint reduction, waste minimization, and responsible resource management
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to sustainable supply chain management, providing guidance and recommendations for continuous improvement
Act as a subject matter expert on sustainability topics within the supply chain, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners; represent Knauf in conferences and working groups
Who you are
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, environmental science, business administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field with a focus on sustainability initiatives
Proven track record of successfully implementing sustainability programs within complex supply chain environments
Strong understanding of sustainability principles, including carbon footprint reduction, circular economy concepts, and social responsibility standards
Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment
