Job description
As a service provider, Schwarz Digital bundles the entire e-commerce and online business for the companies of the Schwarz Group. This includes the Lidl online shop and Kaufland marketplace as well as the loyalty solutions Lidl Plus and K-Card. The focus is on a comprehensive omni-channel strategy that profitably links all digital activities with the stationary business.
In the Payment & Risk team, we support our internal customers in smooth payment processing, from risk assessment and payment method selection to debtor and receivables management. This generates a lot of valuable data, which we use to create transparency and control business processes. That's why we're looking for professionals who want to further advance our digital business with us.
Your tasks
- Support the department through meaningful analyses, reports and ad hoc evaluations in order to control and evaluate the operational and strategic orientation
- Ensuring the availability of all relevant KPIs for controlling payment & risk processes as well as advising business partners and management
- Support in improving performance and access to data sources and analysis tools
- Integration of new data sources and data points for analysis and use as part of risk and fraud prevention
- Creation of forecasts & deviation analyzes as well as independent design and implementation of automated analysis processes
- Adequate preparation of the data results and advice to the management team and the various specialist departments on relevant key figures and key figure developments
Your profile
- You have completed your studies in statistics, (business) mathematics or a comparable field of study
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in an analytical role (e.g. data engineering).
- You have mastered the relevant analysis and reporting tools such as MicroStrategy, Databricks, Snowflake
- You have advanced database knowledge as well as advanced knowledge of SQL and Phyton
- Experience in the areas of payment, fraud prevention or credit risk management is advantageous
- An independent and structured way of working rounds off your profile
- You communicate confidently in German or English
