Job description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and evolution of software architecture for Linux-based IoT solutions, ensuring high cybersecurity standards.
- Coordinate with external software development suppliers, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and security standards.
- Oversee the integration of functionalities into the Linux-based controller IoT system, providing guidance on Python/C++ implementation.
- Collaborate on the seamless integration of interfaces between the Linux-based system and the cloud backend using REST and MQTT protocols.
- Drive the implementation of security concepts into client-side Linux machines, including secure boot, TPM, and authentication procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in software architecture and development, e.g. Python.
- Solid understanding of security concepts of Linux systems, emphasizing secure boot, TPM, and authentication procedures.
- Experience in setting up and using collaborative tools such as GitLab for CI/CD, as well as proficiency in debugging tools like JIRA, Git, Confluence.
- Proficiency in REST and MQTT protocols, as well as familiarity with SQL, JSON, and XML.
- Good Understanding of IoT and distributed systems, including hardware, embedded software, gateways, and cloud/web services.
