Working within E-mobility, the Key Account Manager Fleet for Germany will develop, implement and manage the Customer specific Group account strategy, focused on share of wallet growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. You collaborate with cluster sales teams to lead customer specific sales activities, monitor current projects and manage resolution of specific customer problems.

Your responsibilities
- Owning and orchestrating the overall relationship with the key accounts.
- Leading the virtual teams dedicated to supporting the key accounts.
- Ensuring that ABB becomes a trusted advisor to key accounts.
- Ensuring C level relationship with customers.
- Leading the development of sales strategies for the named accounts by providing the customer’s current business and long-term plans, including the coordination of national strategies.
- Defining and proposing sales targets and growth margins for the account. Ensuring account achievement with a structured follow up process.
- Leading the development and implementation of an account plan. Designing the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, prioritizing opportunities and identifying a target for each solution element. Proposing recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls.
- Establishing and developing account relationships based on a defined strategy. Acting as focal point for problem resolution and monitor customer claims. Planning, facilitating, and conducting customer negotiations.
- Developing, maintaining, and sharing detailed knowledge of the customer’s business strategy, purchasing behavior, organization, decision-makers, customer business drivers, economic trends, and competition.
- Selling products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for the Fleet division.
- Monitoring competitors’ activity with each account and ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
Your background
- We are looking for a new colleague with excellent commercial and interpersonal skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset. Ideally, you have a technical and/or commercial background and an understanding of the e-mobility infrastructure and charging or mobility industry. You are comfortable working in dynamic environments, with fast decision-making under uncertainty.
- You combine strong commercial insight and a result-oriented attitude with the necessary relational skills to develop and manage relationships with customers.
- Independent, self-driven, someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, growth venture environment.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid time management, coupled with strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Direct Sales experience in EV charging industry highly preferred.
- Experience in working in an international company.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and in English.
- Track record of being a top performer and exceeding targets.
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree, or higher in engineering.
- Achieve Exceptional Customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lead multi functional international virtual teams.
