Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH
Location
Jülich | Germany
Job description
Tätigkeitsprofil:
Online monitoring of the ecosystem-atmosphere exchange of H2O and CO2 with fast isotope-specific laser analyzers with the eddy-covariance (EC) method
Isotope-specific profile measurements of N2O and CH2 with lower time resolution
Determination of the so-called isofluxes of the respective gases, on the basis of the combined measurements, together with their contributing sources and/or sinks
Anforderungsprofil:
M.Sc. degree in chemistry, environmental sciences, bio- or geosciences, or a similar subject
Knowledge of greenhouse gas measurement techniques and ideally of micrometeorology and stable isotopes
Experimental skills, ideally laboratory and field experience
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an international, interdisciplinary team
