Job description
Your new responsibilities will include:
- Disciplinary and functional leadership of a growing team consisting of a total of six engineers, technicians, and other professionals, including resource management and the implementation of new functional positions in our development department.
- Continuous care, development, and qualification of team members.
- Development of methods and procedures for managing development patterns and product basic data.
- Promoting teamwork in interdisciplinary projects.
- Supporting the introduction of a new database system (One SAP).
- Operational support and leadership of strategic projects to optimize our workflows.

With your hands-on mentality, you inspire your team members to succeed, never losing sight of pragmatism and the big picture. You have excellent communication skills, report and present concisely and convincingly. You can explain complex relationships in a targeted and structured way. With this ability, you successfully represent your position to stakeholders such as management.
You meet the requirements successfully if you have:
- An academic degre e in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering , or a related field of study.
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial environment , ideally in a manufacturing company of electrical components.
- experience in (functional) team leadership is desirable.
- excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills and international business knowledge.
- fluent English skills and at least basic German language skills in spoken and written form.
- knowledge of databases and SAP is desirable.
