Your responsibilities As a professor of MIB, you will be mainly responsible for teaching and mentoring bachelor students, developing course material and grading. Additional departmental responsibilities include interviewing and the selection of student applicants as well as the recruitment of new adjunct teaching staff. Responsibilities also include assisting in other administrative tasks in the program and throughout the organization, for example, in the recruitment of partner organisations. Your profile Doctorate (Ph.D.) in relevant field of study, preferably in (international) economics. A degree in international business administration will also be considered. At least 5 years professional work experience, including management level responsibilities. Teaching and working experience in international contexts.Management-related teaching experience. Should be able to teach Business Economics and International Economics, International Finance, and Strategic Management & Leadership in the winter semester 2024. As secondary courses in subsequent semesters, the applicant should also be able teach some of the following courses: Business Computer Applications, Business Processes, Business Ethics and Corporate Governance, International Sales Management, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship in a Global Context. Native-English level and being able to also teach in the German programs is a plus. High motivation to teach and mentor students form diverse backgrounds and educational systems.
