for the IT security of the central infrastructure
In its cross-sectional function, the IT department performs various tasks in the areas of IT infrastructure, application provision and support as well as on-site user support in the district administration and district facilities.
The position is assigned to the IT Infrastructure team. The place of work is Ansbach or Nuremberg.
Your tasks
- Evaluation, implementation and administration of a central security system (EDR, XDR, SIEM, SOC)
- Creation of security guidelines for central infrastructure components (Windows Server, network, firewall)
- Collaboration in the Security Operations Center team
- Vulnerability management of the overall infrastructure and associated applications
- Cooperation with the information security officer in the area of IT security
- Review and implementation of common security standards in the IT area
Your profile
- You have
- the qualification for the 3rd qualification level (science and technology career path, specialist focus on administrative informatics) or
- a completed IT-oriented degree (e.g. computer science, business informatics) or
- comparable professional development based on qualified IT training with equivalent specialist knowledge and several years of professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in the IT sector
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Windows 10 or higher
- Relevant knowledge in the area of SIEM, SOC, EDR, XDR
- Basic knowledge of security standards (BSI, LSI, ISO 2700x)
- Class B driving license
- Knowledge of modern IT architectures
- Team and communication skills
- Strong quality awareness and a conscientious approach to work
- Good communication skills
- Enjoy dealing with people and have a confident demeanor
- Professional as well as goal- and service-oriented approach
- An independent, forward-looking and structured way of working
Also desirable are:
- Good knowledge of English
- Knowledge of process-oriented and agile working methods
