ITT Bornemann GmbH is a company of the ITT Corporation and is one of the leading manufacturers of screw pumps and system solutions for various fields of application such as the oil and gas, pharmaceutical and food industries. At our location in Obernkirchen/near Hanover we employ about 245 people.
For the next possible start date we are looking for a Project Buyer (f/m/d)
Your duties:
• Preparation, implementation and optimization of all purchasing-related activities in customer projects.
• Contact person for the project team and project sales for all purchasing-related topics in the projects and in advance of the projects during the offer phase.
• Management and coordination of suppliers.
• Carrying out commercial contract negotiations in the project context.
• Development of the project-specific purchasing strategy in collaboration with the colleagues responsible for product groups in strategic purchasing.
• Overview of procurement status, savings, upcoming negotiations and deliveries.
• Information transfer to the project team of the relevant commercial purchasing conditions.
• Identification of project risks and purchasing-side risk management.
The requirements :
• Completed (technical) university degree in business administration, business law, Industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing or project purchasing
• Basic knowledge of project management and project work
• Team-oriented and strong in communication
• willingness to travel
