In Cloud Platform Automation (CPA) , a part of Global Technology & Cloud Platform , w e are seeking a talented and motivated Software Development Engineer to join our innovative team and contribute to Amadeus’ journey to the cloud.
As a Software Development Engineer at CPA , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that drive our migration to the cloud . You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and product owners, to translate requirements into functional and efficient code.
The CPA team members are key contributors to the following SAFe virtual team of TGOT , who designs, develops and maintains end-to-end terragrunt framework to enable rapid, large-scale deployment of Amadeus’ infrastructure in Azure using Infrastructure as Code technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain software applications using your strong programming skills and best practices.
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, following established coding standards.
Collaborate with product owners and architects to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner .
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain code quality.
Stay up to date with the latest programming languages, tools, and frameworks to drive continuous improvement in development practices.
Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and continuous integration of software.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of demonstrated expertise in Python or Go programming, including proficiency with pytest or similar testing framework.
Very good knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
Experience with DevOps and GitOps concepts
Analytical and conceptual thinking
Team spirit, ability to work as part of a team and in a multicultural environment
Agile mindset and knowledge of agile methodologies
Quality mindset, ability to write unit tests and validate solutions.
