Creating passion: your responsibilities

- Design and development of embedded system software for electric drive systems using model-based software development

- Implementation and maintenance of communication protocols

- Creation of requirement and functional specifications and definition of qualification criteria, in particular for system control

- Responsibility for the design, selection and integration of individual system components

- Collaboration on risk assessments and FMEAs

- Creation and implementation of test programs to verify and validate the control algorithms created, both virtually (e.g. in co-simulation) and on the target hardware

- Parameterization, commissioning and qualification support on the test bench and in the applications

- Further development and maintenance of a standardized platform for the control development of drive systems according to the V-model, as well as creation of development guidelines

- Documentation and communication of decisions and results

Contributing your strengths: your qualifications

- Degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, mechatronics or comparable qualification

- Professional experience in model-based software development, preferably in relation to electrical drive technology in Matlab/Simulink

- Confident handling of the programming language ST, C or C++

- Experience in communication protocols such as J1939 and CANopen

- Experience in requirements engineering (RV&S) desirable

- Good knowledge of German and English
