We are a Fashion brand seeking our Head of IP to guide an already strong team to meet these requirements.

Our IP office is based in Luxembourg with quarters in London, Milan, Paris, LA, NY, China and a network of franchises and distributors all over the world. 

The role:

As Head of IP you will spearhead the efforts to secure our intellectual property assets and you’ll be working across the organisation together with our in-house Legal offices and external law firms and service providers. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing Brand’s IP portfolio
• Improve the IP strategy at a global level (Trademarks, designs, anti-counterfeiting…).
• Act as a key advisor to the business and partner with the different teams to identify opportunities to protect intellectual property and to provide protection assessments
• Animate the internal IP meetings
• Support the legal team in contract drafting and negotiations, in particular with regard to trademark and design protection
• Managing all IP litigations together with the external IP lw firms appointed for each case 

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of proven track record in Intellectual Property
• A strong trademark experience is a must
• Fluent in English - Italian would be a plus
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to independently lead and execute all facets of challenging engagements with highest integrity and ethics
• Collaborative team player with an ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
• Ability to offer both practical and theoretical advice demonstrating knowledge of the product and good business instincts
• Ability to prioritize and multitask, flexibility and adaptability in the workplace
• Creative, autonomous, and strong entrepreneurship mindset
• At ease in a fast pace, very innovative environment
