This challenge awaits you:

Current vehicles already have a variety of complex driver assistance systems (Advanced Driver Assist Systems). Through the further development and networking of these assistance systems, future vehicle generations will be able to initially drive in a highly automated and ultimately completely autonomous manner. In addition to these technical developments, IAV GmbH is always working to improve internal work and development processes so that they meet the challenges and complexity of future mobility projects. Some of our areas of expertise in the area of ​​driver assistance systems are Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Pedestrian Protection, Blind Spot Detection, Parking Assistance, Light and Vision Assistance, Emergency Braking Systems, PreCrash Rear / Front / Side View, Lane Change Assistant and Car2XSafety.

Your Tasks:

• Development of innovative methods and processes with a view to technical applicability in the project
• Supporting our team in developing and securing comfort and safety functions
• Concept development both in the vehicle and in interaction with the infrastructure and other road users (V2X)
• Partially automated data analysis
• Analysis and implementation of driving functions
• Visualization and presentation of the results

Necessary Skills:

• Ongoing studies in the field of computer science, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable (natural science) course of study
• Willingness and comprehension to acquire new skills
• High level of initiative and creativity
• Teamwork and open-mindedness
• Very good communication skills
