We serve as the strategic finance partners for the Amadeus global technology and cloud business unit. Summary of the role:
Be a financial business partner within our strategic finance partner team and support our internal customers in the Controlling processes and special projects through modelling, planning and monitoring, in implementing the strategy of the company and maximizing the value for Amadeus.
Analyze deviations against objectives and provide recommendations to the operational management on how to reach their objectives
Recommend and implement the tools for the management to lead the organization. Provide relevant information and tools to our internal customers to help them to pilot their area.
Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area.
Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.
Specific accountabilities:
Drive and perform the budgeting and forecasting processes across the respective divisions, sites and business units within the Amadeus Global Technology and Cloud Business Unit.
Analyze and explain variations between plan and actuals and propose counteractive measures. Identify and track risks and opportunities within the budgeted and forecasted figures, continuously inform senior management about the financial situation and forecast. Providing visibility on financial resources and transparency of cost.
Ensure economic transparency and provide business management advice to the organizational unit and cost center managers in charge & track project costs.
Preparing reports and decision-making documents for business management issues.
Further development and implementation of the necessary processes, procedures and regulations, including technical implementation.
Use FinOps tools and instruments to analyze Public Cloud costs, analyze and maintain allocation drivers to service & product costing.
About the ideal candidate
University degree in Finance / Controlling, Engineering, Business Analysis or equivalent
More than two years of working experience in Finance/Controlling or equivalent
Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages and Controlling related Software such as SAP or equivalent
Fluent in English, B2 level in German language is a plus.
