Role Summary
Data center storage management addressing storage, installing and troubleshooting, maintenance, lifecycle, of data center storage infrastructure following compliance, audits, and financial standards of the data center organization including all associated services.
Accountabilities
• Effective delivery and operations of Data Center storage Services in the global data centers.
• The responsibility includes the oversight of installations, detailed designs, configurations and technical changes based on standards, best practices and standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for the 24x7 operational oversight and direction to both external technical and engineering teams.
• Leads external Datacenter Engineering staff responsible for storage installations, operation, and maintenance of all associated systems.
• Professionally leads culturally diverse teams with professional and/or technical backgrounds.
• Support and ensure compliance to defined IT Governance controls, standards, and practices.

Role Requirements

Role Requirements :


• Extensive data center experience in storage operations and system management including working with external suppliers delivering global services.
• Superior troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent understanding of storage and storage virtualization technologies.
• Solid experience working with storage technologies(NAS, SAN) of at least one major global brand like NetApp (cDOT), EMC Isilon, EMC Data Domain, or Pure Storage.
• Advanced understanding of enterprise Storage Area Networks (FC, FCoE, iSCSI) ideally IBM based.
• Technical proficiency with network file protocols (SMB, NFS).
• Solid experience with disaster recovery technologies and data replication.
• Experience with Storage administration, monitoring, and automation using tools like – EMC Networker, OnCommand System Manager, OnCommand Unified Manager, HP StorageWorks, EMC OneFS, SyncIQ, InsightIQ, NetApp Workflow Automation.
