Senior Manager Group Accounting (all genders)
Your future tasks:
As Senior Manager Group Accounting, you will be responsible for the day-to-day business of group accounting, working closely with the senior management. Additionally, you will drive the professional and process-related optimization of the group accounting function.
- You will lead a highly motivated small team and be responsible for the regular consolidated financial statements.
- In doing so, you will ensure that the company complies with all legal requirements.
- In addition, you will oversee the company-wide reconciliation of accounts and ensure the implementation of the closing process.
- You will be responsible for auditing the financial statements of subsidiaries and preparing ad hoc analyses of consolidated financial statements as required.
- The coordination of group audits and the function as contact person for audit inquiries as well as internal and external stakeholders fall within your area of responsibility.
- In addition, you will oversee both special and strategic group projects with an impact on group accounting and will be involved in the preparation of financial plans and financial reporting packages.
- Furthermore, you will support the development and implementation of internal financial controls, procedures and policies as well as IT systems for reporting, including a group-wide ERP system.
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed a degree in business administration or finance and have several years of professional experience in group accounting, auditing or in a comparable position with management responsibility.
- In addition to sound knowledge of group accounting in accordance with IFRS and HGB, you have relevant legal knowledge.
- Furthermore, you are familiar with current accounting (e.g. LucaNet) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and ideally have a certification in accounting (ACCA, CPA).
- You are also confident in using MS Excel and have fluent written and spoken English as well as strong communication skills.
- Furthermore, you have a very structured, independent and process-oriented way of working.
- Your strong analytical and conceptual skills round off your profile.
