The Hospital Patient Monitoring PMO Sustaining is responsible for the programs and project management for the entire existing HPM product portfolio.
You are responsible for
Lead one of the most important product portfolio from Hospital Patient Monitoring CAD-Accessories. These projects may comprise of adding newly improved products to HPM portfolio, by working with the Cross Functional Team members and interacting with the team that takes care of the relationship of the supplier, or also implementing the changes that need to be done to cover such a portfolio.
The project manager has overall responsibility and accountability for project result. S(h)e takes the decisions within the project together with her/his team. Knows which decisions are overarching and must be taken by category or business management. Makes clear proposals for these and manages the decision process.
The project leadership comprises all I2M functions (product marketing, design, R&D, Q&R, Procurement, OPS, BMC marketing, Suplier, etc) that are involved in product development and maintenance.
You are responsible for the on-time, on-budget, on-quality delivery of her/his projects. To achieve that he creates the smartest lean overall project plans, with clear development logic, and effective Daily Management and 3C escalation system.
You have a good understanding of medical documentation related to design controls, supplier management relationship and registration requirements in a medical device environment. Understands the intent of the procedures to tailor the project deliverables (for project efficiency and effectiveness) without compromising compliance or quality. Bases the plan on the required decisions and not just on deliverables.
You have a strong innovation background to help his team in identifying and solving risks and issues
You are responsible for creating strong teams that take full project ownership. Is not just coordinating X-functional team meetings; yet ensures via team building and Daily Management that all members see the team and excellent project delivery as their main priority.
Implements resource and cost planning and tracking using Clarity for her/his project(s). Ensures monthly resource handshakes with all resource managers. Makes monthly financial forecasts together with the F&A leader. Manages all project KPIs, like the Delivery, Financial and Quality-Norm KPI’s.
Leads all project reviews. Schedules these proactively with all stakeholders, including category, business, and cluster leadership. Leverages these reviews also for escalation and decision-making. Always ensures clear data, and always provides options to solve the project issues.
You are a part of
The Hospital Patient Monitoring PMO is responsible for the program and project management of the HPM projects, both new products and solutions, and maintenance of existing ones.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Needs to have a bachelor or masters in a technical study (electronical, mechanical, software, biomedical engineering or equivalent).
Previous experience in highly regulated areas is desirable.
Needs to have at least 3 years’ experience in hands-on product development and at least 5 years on multiple projects/program management for product development
Experience with planning, implementing tools and processes and improving processes.
Must have strong team leadership skills and experience. Manages team dynamics. Is inspiring and able to drive the teams to high performance. Is good in change management.
Ability to manage senior stakeholders throughout the organization.
Good communicator in English, both verbally and written
High drive, positive attitude and resilience to overcome people, organizational, process and technical issues.
