The On Site Services Specialist (M/F/D) is a professional service provider in the water treatment industry. She or he provides on-site services at our major accounts in
Germany, acting mainly in the territory around Gelsenkirchen, occasionally supports the wider North European region.
Essential responsibilities The following activities are a guideline; others can be part of the job scope:
Comply with integrity and safety as required by Veolia policies
Report all work related accidents (including vehicle), diseases, dangerous occurrences, near misses, incidents and damage to property to Line Manager and EHS Manager, preferably through Gensuite.
Ensure the water treatment plant is operating in compliance with design guidelines
Carry out regular maintenance works, perform inspections, operation evaluations of the water facility and prepare summary reports of findings, incl.Preparation and update facility operation and maintenance manuals.
Customer reporting/Data processing with the use of our InSight platform
First line trouble shooting for Water treatment application
Fulfill Piloting and Field trials when required
Retain strong verbal and written contact with customers
Travel, flights, outside of the geographic area when needed.Trips duration up to 2 weeks
Participate in the local team meetings to share best practices
Support Services Growth in the DACH CEE region.
Development of Asset care opportunities
Qualifications/Requirements
Service oriented, external focus Experience and/or interest in Water Treatment is a plus
Strong flexibility and problem-solving skills
Competence with windows office software and Veolia IT tools is a must
Mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering background
Good communications skills (written, verbal, and listening)
Ability to be a team player
Self-initiative and motivation with the ability to work independently
Fluent German, intermediate English is a must
Driving license
