Java Engineer – B2C Logistics Tech – Straelen NRW (Hybrid)



We are recruiting for a €MultiMillion B2C logistics organisation who are looking for Multiple Java Engineers to join their development team.  Due to the increase in demand for the business’ services, they are transforming their internal Point of Sale platform to ensure a smooth purchase experience.



The business has been operating for over 55 years and specialises in the storage and transportation of frozen goods across the globe. This market leading organisation is ever growing with over 11 000 employees worldwide and a revenue of over €100Million.



Your team is cross functional, and you can expect a highly collaborative environment including internal and external stakeholders. Growth wise, they want to hire multiple Java developers this year and the plan in the new year is to ramp up their scaling efforts, so you will be in a stable yet growing environment which is always a big bonus.

Your tasks:

• Further development of an existing Android app based on Kotlin
• Creation and maintenance of backend microservices (Spring Boot, MongoDB, Docker)
• Compliance with software architecture specifications in the creation, maintenance and expansion of reusable components

Your profile:

• Completed studies in computer science/business informatics or comparable training
• Relevant professional experience in software development using Java or the GCP environment
• A motivated, goal-oriented and self-responsible way of working
• Very good knowledge of English
