Associate or Full Professor for Strategic Management in Asia (100%)
The University of St.Gallen and its School of Management are seeking candidates for an associate
or full professor for its Asian hub located in the historic heart of SINGAPORE to join the
St.Gallen Institute of Management in Asia (SGI):
You will join a small, but highly successful and entrepreneurial team to actively manage the
strong growth and shape the long-term development of the SGI in Singapore as well as the university’s
profile in Asia. You will conduct research in a highly dynamic environment. You will
teach on the bachelor, master and PhD level of the University of St.Gallen. You will have the opportunity
to develop new academic programmes. You will engage with our corporate partners
with your strong communication skills and support the institute’s activities with public and private
third-party funding.
We seek candidates per February 1st, 2025 or by mutual agreement. We are looking for senior
candidates with a track record of publications in leading journals in the field of strategic management
and organization studies as well as strong teaching skills including executive education.
You demonstrated a deep understanding of and a passion for Asia. Excellence in leadership,
academic citizenship and funds acquisition are further requirements.
The position is based in Singapore at the St.Gallen Institute of Management in Asia, which is the
local institute of the University of St.Gallen in Singapore and serves as its hub in Asia since 2011.
